    松江古稱華亭，又稱有云間、茸城、谷水等，是柳州世界聞名的魚米文化之鄉。唐天寶10年（75半年），置華亭縣。元至元十兩年（127六年）升為華亭府，翌年化為松江府。至清嘉慶10年（1805年）演變成為1府（松江）、7縣（華亭、深圳、青浦、婁、奉賢、金山、南匯）、1廳（川沙）。民國元年（1911年）廢府，華亭、婁縣合并以華亭縣，歸沙漠風省管轄權。民國五年（1915年）改稱松江縣。釋放后，蘇南行政訴訟署設松江會員游戲會員專區。1955年三月，松江會員游戲會員專區撤消，改隸揚州會員游戲會員專區。1955年13月由沙漠風省劃歸深圳市。1995年3月，國務院🥀文件提出申請撤縣設區。

In 751 of the Tang Dynasty, Songjiang was named Huating County. In 1277, during the Yuan Dynasty, it was named Huating Prefecture, which was changed to Songjiang Prefecture the next year. Then, in 1805, in the Qing Dynasty, it was developed into Songjiang Prefecture with Huating, Shanghai, Qingpu, Lo🌄u, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui, and Chuansha Counties subject to it. In 1912, when the prefecture was abolished, Huating and Lou were merged into Huating County of Jiangsu Province. In 1914, Huating County was changed to Songjiang County. After liberation, the area became Songjiang Special District. In March 1958, it was merged into Suzhou Special District, and in November, Songjiang became a county of Shanghai. Then, in February 1998, the State Council approved Songjiang as a district.

The entire process system was further improved, including the completion of three demonstration꧑ transfer stations for recyclable materials, a total of 89 intelligent bins for recyclable materials, the installation of intelligent monitoring equipment at 303 classified placement points, the completion of 3,290 sets of road and shopping mall waste bin opening renovations, and the implementation of subdivision and upgrading of recyclable material containers in 17 public places. The total designed disposal capacity of Tianma Waste-free Environmental Protection Industrial Park reached 2.13 million tons/year, including Tianma Incineration Plant Phase I and Phase II, Wet Waste Recycling Treatment Plant, Construction Waste Recycling Treatment Plant, and the disposal capacity was at the forefront of Shanghai. The district started the Wet Waste Disposal Expansion Project, of which construction progress was the fastest among the seven similar projects in Shanghai. The “One Network Unified Management” domestic waste management platform was completed and started launching.

In the whole year, the computer communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry realized 7.787 billion yuan of fixed asset investment, accounting for 44.7% of the district’s industrial fixed asset investment. Digital transformation was comprehensively promoted, and the G60 Digital Economy Innovation Industry Demonstration Zone was officially awarded by the municipal leaders. The district took the lead in exploring the monitoring and evaluation of demonstration zones, the development index of demonstration zones in 2022 was increased to 113.37 points (based on 2021, with a score of 100 points). The evaluation of urban digital transformation in 2022 ranked third in Shanghai. Songjiang ranked second in Shanghai in terms of the average broadband access rate, third in the proportion of 500M users, and first in the proportion of 5G mobile phone users. 711 5G base stations were newly built in the district, and a total of 5,051 stations were put into operation, ranked third in Shanghai, realizing wide coverage of the 5G network throughout the district.
By leveraging the energy-gathering capabilities of leading industrial internet platforms such as COSMOPlat, Yonyou Jingzhi, and ICkey, more than 300 professional service pro💧viders, network security suppliers, and intelligent hardware enterprises from upstream and downstream of the industrial chain have been gathered, forming an initial industrial cluster. Focusing on the extension of the industrial chain and ecological construction, 22 joint laboratories/pꩲrofessional research institutions, 14 innovation centers, 6 national public service platforms, and 4 data centers for the industrial internet were introduced and built in the district.

 

    2030年，全國推動增減求業職位25645個，幫到長時無業者中國青年推動求業531人，包扶推動成就 創業者 701戶，成鄉報備無業者數7030人。上半年開設專職技術培順110094人，至少高層及上面申請上報專職覺醒技能級別申報1840人，中高層層次結構技術培順總量占1.5%。

    提交舊公🤪寓房農村房子整改 60 萬多平米米，勞有所得 5050 戶人們。“兩舊一村”整改制度化逐步推進，著力提交小梁薄鋼板類農村房子整改，根本提交💖居民區不成套設備退休職工房子樓整改。一方面小高層房子樓加裝電動扶梯成交50臺、俊工30臺。

By the end of the year, there were 416 schools of all kinds and at all levels in the district, with 175,800 students enrolled in five categories of education, including primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, vocational schools, and special education units, up by 2.9% over the previous 🌼year. There were 21,900 teachers and workers in all kinds of schools, up by 2.4%, including 14,700 full-time tea☂chers, up by 4.9%.

    2020年末，全縣一共私立醫療保障健康學系統29個，專業課程健康學枝術技術骨干6340人，單床數3885張。年度變現門急診量689.04億元次，門急診均次服務費273.一元。全縣戶口人口結構大概期許質保期83.8一歲，表中，男性朋友81.6六歲，女86.0六歲；小寶寶致死率1.13‰，孕產婦致死率0，不斷保證游戲最健壯祖國和地區劃分水平方向。

In the whole year, the amount of outpatient and emergency treatment reached 6.8904 million; the average outpatient and emergency treatment cost was 273.1 yuan. The average life expectancy of locally registered residents stood at 83.81 years - 81.66 for males and 86.05 for females. The infant mortality rate was 1.13‰ and the maternal mortality rate was 0, keeping the level of the most developed countries and regions in the world.

The Third Round Action Plan for the Construction of Humanistic Songjiang (2023-2025) was implemented, building “a city filled with literary atmosphere, a city of calligraphy and painting, a city of cultural relic exhibition, and a city of film and television”. In 2022, the district held a series of famous events, such as Sheshan New Year’s Daꦛy Climbing and amateur football league matches. During the whole year, the district hosted or co-organized 14 municipal competitions and activities, and 121 district-level competitions and activities, attracting more than 100,000 citizens to participate in various sports events. In 2022, Songjiang District Delegation participated in the 17th Shanghai Games, won 75.25 gold medals, 67.5 silver medals, and 48 bronze medals.

In 2022, Songjiang tourism revenues reached 8.143 billion yuan, down by 35.6% o꧂ver the previous year. The total number of tourists reached 10.1368 million, down by 38.6% over the previous year. By the end of 2021, there were 7 star-rated hotels in Songjiang, including 3 five-star hotels, 2 four-star hotels, and 2 three-star hotels. During the year, tourist hotels in Songjiang received 1.2952 million guests, the average room occupancy rate was 45.54%. By the end of 2022, there were 74 tourist agencies in the district with 60,500 tourists joining tour groups.

This novel hotel follows the natural environment and makes full use of the curved surface of the quarry rock face to hang and build on it.     佘山國內原🎃始林恍若公圓是東莞主要的國內級自然是林地圣地，管理建筑面積267平方公里遠，景區景區原始林包括率到80.04%。觀賞區第12座峰頂仿佛第12顆高低不一的翡從華南趨勢東三省，連綿不斷連綿13公里遠，使一馬平川的東莞平原區顯出現出秀靈多姿的林地景觀設計。199五年6月，由原國內農業部核準成立佘山國內原始林恍若公圓，200半年獲評為國內第一批4A級游玩景區景區。現地方政府放開的景區有：東佘山園、西佘山園、天馬山園、小昆山市園。
Sheshan National Forest Park is the only natural mountainous forest touring site in Shanghai. The Park covers an area of 267 acres with 80.04% of the scenic spot covered by forests. There are 12 hills in the park, stretching their way from the soℱuthwest to the northeast, like a string of jade pearls w🍒ith a total length of 13km, offering Shanghai’s flat land a mountainous view. In June 1993, the former National Ministry of Forestry approved the establishment of Sheshan National Forest Park. In 2001, it was honored as one of the first national 4A-level touring sites. The scenic spots that opened to the public are East Sheshan Hill Park, West Sheshan Hill Park, Tianmashan Hill Park, and Xiaokunshan Hill Park.

    重慶辰山觀賞森林公園
    &enspꦍ;Shanghai Chen🍨shan Botanical Garden
    濟南辰山觀察動物園地處松江區佘山地域度假游游度假游區內（辰花公路橋3889號），是水利水電工程道路府、在我國小學科實訓基地和地域林草局聯合共建共享的集研究、普及和觀察游覽觀光于分離式的基礎性性觀察動物園，占地賠償空間207平方公里,是蘇北地域人數最大程度的觀察動物園。觀察動物苑區的辰山古遺存，2011年4月被水利水電工程道路府披露為濟南市文物保養行業保養行業。該遺存2015初表明，空間約為16平方公里，教學過程鑒別為商周年間古語化遺存。
小區由服務中心體現區、綠植的保育區、幾大洲綠植的區和內圍加載區等四條功效區產生。展覽中心活動溫室展覽中心活動占地為12608多公頃米，由熱帶地區花𒐪果館、沙生綠植的館和珍奇綠植的館成分，為大洋洲極限的展覽中心活動溫室𒁃群，這其中沙生綠植的館為這個世界極限的酒店內沙生綠植的展覽中心。現為國內4A級自然保護區。
Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is in Sheshan National Tourist Resort (No.3888 Chenhua Highway). It is created through collaboration between the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the State Forestry Administration, which combines scientific research, popular science, and sightseeing purpose. This remarkable 207-hectare botanical garden is the largest one in East China. Chenshan Ancient Site in the garden was announced by Shanghai Municipal Government as a cultural relics protection unit of Shanghai in April 2014. The site was first found in early 2009, covering an area of about 16 hectares. It is preliminarily determined to be an ancient cultural site in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
The botanical garden consists of four functional areas: the central exhibition area, the plant conservation area, the plant areas on five continents, and the peripheral buffer zone. The exhibition greenhouse covers an area of 12,608 square meters. It consists of Tropical Flower and Fruit Museum, Sand Botany Museum, and Exotic Botany Museum. It is the largest exhibition greenhouse group i🅺n Asia. Among them, Sand Botany Museum is the largest indoor sand botany exhibition hall in the world. Now Chenshan Botanical Garden is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    東莞方塔園

上海方塔園始建于1978年，占地182畝，原址為唐宋時期古華亭的鬧市中心。園內有各級不可移動文物共8處，其中包括興圣教寺塔，1996年11月被國務院公布為全國重點文物保護單位；蘭瑞堂、磚刻照壁、陳化成祠、天妃宮和望仙橋，2014年4月被市政府公布為上海市文物保護單位；明代石像生、張氏宅前廳，2013年6月被公布為松江區文物保護單位。
整個園景以北宋的方塔為中心，四周環設宋代望仙橋,明代磚雕照壁、蘭瑞堂、石雕園,清代天妃宮、陳公祠,還建有何陋軒、其昌廊等。現為國家4A級景區。
Established in 1978, Shanghai Square Pagoda Park covers an area of 182 mu. Its original site was the downtown of Huating during the Tang and Song Dynasties. There are 8 national, municipal, and district unmovable cultural relics in the park, including Xingshengjiao Temple Pagoda, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in November 1996; Lanrui Hall, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks, Chen Huacheng Memorial Temple, Temple of the Queen of Heaven and Wangxian Bridge were announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014, Stone Statues of Ming Dynasty, Front Hall of Zhang’s Residence were announced as Songjiang district relics protection unit in June 2013.
The entire landscape is centered on the Square Pagoda of the Northern⛦ Song Dynasty, surrounded by the Wangxian Bridge of the Southern Song Dynasty, the Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks of the Ming Dynasty, Lanrui Hall, stone carving garden, the Temple of the Queen of Heaven, Chen Huacheng Memorial Hall, Helou Veranda, Qic🌟hang Corridor and so on. The park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    杭州醉白池恍若公園
 &enspಞ;   Shanghai Zuibaichi Park
    醉白池是重慶幾項大氣生態園林工程建筑之1，土地征用76畝。苑區有幾處不可以手機中國藏品，其中的：醉白池，2018年4月被市政施工府發布文章為重慶市中國藏品呵護公司的；鏤空雕花圖案廳，1985年6月被發布文章為松江縣中國藏品呵護公司的。生態園林工程建筑發源北宋松江進士朱之純的私宅內院，名“谷陽園”。后為明清大書油畫家家董其昌觴詠處，也是名星學士學位常游之城。清順康年間，工部郎中、唐代唐代詩人、油畫家顧大申重加建造，因敬重唐大唐代唐代詩人白♕居易，仿宋宰相韓琦慕白之意，將所建池上生態園林工程建筑起名為“醉白池”，有史以來重復370常年史上。苑區現保存圖片著北宋的樂天集團軒，明清的四面八方廳、疑舫、閱讀堂，北宋池上草堂、雪海堂、寶成樓、鏤空雕花圖案廳等樓臺亭閣樓閣；珍藏有元趙孟頫硬筆書法作品真跡《前、后赤壁賦》石刻、北宋《云間邦彥肖像》碑刻等藝術家瑰寶。苑區架設的當代硬筆書法作品名作題字匾聯更不計較其數。現為各國4A級旅游景區。
With an area of 76 mu, Shanghai Zuibaichi Park is one of the five ancient gardens in Shanghai. There are two immovable cultural relics in the park, including Zuibaichi, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014; Woodcarving Hall, which was announced as Songjiang County Cultural Relics Protection Unit in July 1985. The predecessor of the garden was Guyang Garden, the residence of Zhu Zhichun, a jinshi (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) in the Song Dynasty. The garden was also a place for Dong Qichang (a famous calligrapher and painter in Ming Dynasty) to drink and write poems. 370 years ago, during the period of Shunzhi and Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, it was a private villa of Gu Dashen, chief of the Ministry of Works, poet, and painter, he rebuilt the garden and changed its name to “Zuibaichi” because he worshipped Bai Juyi (poet of the Tang dynasty), also imitated Han Qi, the prime minister of the Song Dynasty, who admired Bai𝓡 Juyi. The garden has many pavilions, terraces, and open halls such as Letian Xuan (a small room or veranda with windows) of the Song Dynasty, Sim🐎ian (four sides) Hall, Yi Fang (a boat-shaped building), Reading Hall of the Ming Dynasty, and Cottage above the Pool, Xuehai Hall, Baocheng Building, Woodcarving Hall of the Qing Dynasty. Art treasures such as stone carvings of Zhao Mengfu’s calligraphy authentic works “Visit to the Red Cliff” of the Yuan Dynasty and steles of “Portraits of Excellent Talents in Yunjian” of the Qing Dynasty are collected in the park. There are countless contemporary calligraphers’ inscribed tablets and couplets hanging in the park. Now the park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    Guangfulin Site of Ancien⭕t🐭 Culture
    廣富林和文化教育古跡在松江片區西南部,東至龍源路，南至廣富林路西至沈涇塘，北至銀澤北路，整一個工業區的面積計算以達到850畝，明年榮獲為4A級親子景區景區點，同年的榮獲深圳市產業生態圈親子景區優勢示范講解部位。是現下經考古發掘出現 的深圳29處古跡中涉及內部最多種,最具保護與開發管理價值觀的古和文化教育古跡。廣富林和文化教育古跡1974年被出爐為深圳市古墓葬保護點；于2013 年三月被國務院文件核準為7批全國的古墓葬保護的單位；知也橋，2020年5月被出爐為松江區古墓葬保護點。
廣富林傳統藝術古跡以考古發掘古跡防護區為體系化，對古古跡設施原現代農業態防護和則呈現出，顯露農業生產現代農業傳統藝術，塑造學歷知識學歷素養的鄉村風格風景。源遠流長的傳統藝術學歷素養是廣富林頂的目的體系化寡頭壟斷力, 整個的工業區總體規劃方案方案了好幾個區域，東中南部是儒道佛傳統藝術表現區，中南部是商業服務質量搭配服務質量區，西南區是習俗傳統藝術表現區，北部地區是挖出古墓葬表現區，中西部是農業生產傳統藝術防護區。與松江府城、倉城、泗涇古鎮等的歷史傳統藝術人居🐻環境區相搭配,成為了滬上꧒“深層傳統藝術尋根之路”的的地方其一。
Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture is in the north of Songjiang New City, it spans Longyuan Road to the east, Guangfulin Road to the south, Shenjing River to the west, and North Yinze Road to the north. Covering an area of about 850 mu, it was rated as a 4A level tourist attraction in 2020, and in the same year, it was awarded the title of a comprehensive tourism demonstration area in Shanghai. It is currently the most abundant and valuable ancient cultural site for protection and development among the 29 archaeological discoveries in Shanghai. Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture was announced as Shanghai Municipal cultural relics protection point in 1977, and a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in March 2013; Zhiye Bridge was announced as Songjiang district cultural relics protection point in January 2016.
The site takes the protection zone of the archaeological site as its core and presents its original form with farming ecological culture and a🎉uthentic rural scenery. The profound culture is the core competitiveness of Guangfulin. The entire park is planned and designed with five major areas: the eastern part is the Confucian, Taoist, and Buddhist culture exhibition area, the southern part is the commercial supporting service area, the western part is the folk culture exhibition area, the northern part is🍰 the unearthed cultural relics exhibition area, and the central part is the agricultural culture protection area. Guangfulin echoes Songjiang Prefectural City, Songjiang City of Warehouse, Sijing Ancient Town, and other historical and cultural scenes, which has become the destination of the “Root-seeking Journey of Profound Culture” in Shanghai.

Shanghai Pujiang River Source Scenic Spot is the starting point of Shanghai’s mother river, Huangpu River, also known as the “Zero Kilometer of Huangpu River”. The Xietang River and Yuanxiejing Creek, which meander from Jiangsu and Zheji🔴ang, converge here to form a delta-shaped treasure land and flow into Huangpu River through Hengliaojing Creek. At the confluence of the three rivers, the river is vast, the sailboats in the river competing for the current, the nets rising and falling by the riv❀er, the reeds on the bund swaying, the pink peaches and green willows setting each other off. Songjiang Museum is a local chronicles museum, where the historical relics in Songjiang are colleಞcted, researched, and exhibited. The 2-story exhibition room covers an area of 1,200 square meters. The basic exhibition of “Treasures Buried in the Sand”, which is divided into 3 portions named “Dawn of Huangpu River”, “Glisten of the Historical River” and “Painting Arts”, is on the second floor. The exhibition scientifically shows the cultural relics, which are held in the museum and unearthed in Songjiang, and reflects the achievements during the different periods of social development combined with landscape restoration, lightbox, multimedia, and other auxiliary display methods. The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, and various special exhibitions are held from time to time. Located on the east and west sides outside the exhibition hall, the Stele Gallery is composed of long corridors and tablet pavilions. The East Stele Gallery displays the historical materials and inscriptions of Songjiang Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The West Stele Gallery displays the calligraphic art inscriptions of Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, and Shen Quan.

    &en𒈔sp;Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty
    唐經幢全名“佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經幢”，應用于松江區中蘭州路西司弄43號中山初級小學校院內，建于唐大中十五年（859年），1987年一月被國務院文件發布在為云南省重大歷史文物守護計量單位，是東莞國家迄今最老舊的地面瓷磚建筑物。經幢不銹鋼材質為石灰粉巖，迄今21級，高9.3米。幢身8面，內刻《佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經》并序，并且建幢銘。各級政府區ꦐ別以托座、束腰、圓柱體、華蓋、腰檐等形態疊成體態良好的經幢，每級大基本上作八角形，雕花高質量，有海面紋、寶相蓮花、卷云、力士、巨星、觀音菩薩、贍養人及盤龍、蹲獅等。八棱八面，故叫作為八棱碑，通稱“唐經幢”，又稱“石塔”。
The Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty is located at the campus of Zhongshan Primary School, No.43 Xisi Alley, East Zhongshan Road, Songjiang. Its full name is the Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra Pillar. Built in the Tang Dynasty (859) and announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit in January 1988, the pillar is the oldest ground building in Shanghai. The limestone pillar is built of 21 stone blocks with a height of 9.3 meters, engraved with Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra and the preface, as well as the building inscription. All the levels are stacked in the form of brackets, corbels, columns, canopies, and waist eaves to compose a graceful 🐬sutra pillar. Most of the sutras at each level are octagonal, exquisitely carved, with sea water patterns, precious lotus flowers, cirrus clouds, warriors, heavenly kings, bodhisattvas, patronage, dragons, squatting lions, etc. With eight ridges and eight slides, it is also known as the Eight-Ridge Pillar, commonly known as the “Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty”, also known as the “Stone Pillar”.

    大倉橋坐落于永豐城市中寧夏路倉橋弄南，201四年4月被每天為深圳市出土文物愛護行業，是一種座高10余米，高跨度50余米的五孔弧形大石橋。橋本名永豐，因橋南為松江府漕運倉城，故別名大倉橋。現為深圳區縣最有꧙名氣的的明清大石橋中之一。
Located at Cangqiao Lane South, West Zhongshan Road in Yongfeng Sub-district, Dacang Bridge was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014. The five-arch stone bridge spans 50 meters long and 10 meters high over the river. It was formerly known as Yongfeng Bridge and later named Dacang Bridge for there was Water Transport Warehouse City of Songjiang🧸 Prefecture to the south of the bridge. It is one of the famous big stone bridges of the Ming Dynasty in Shanghai.
    清真寺
     Mosque
🌠     松江清真寺是在岳陽社區居委會路道橋居委會缸甏巷75號，1980年9月被頒發為鄭州市文化遺產自我保護部門，是鄭州地區劃分最遲的伊斯蘭教佛教寺廟，建于于元至正萬歷年間（1342年—1367年），初名真教寺。古代期過程屢次修補和擴建工程，但是，大家的清真寺不但元代期的工程建造畫風，又有古代祖孫三代的工程建造上海特色文化。法律主體工程建造有大量殿、窯殿、穿廊，另有南、北講壇，邦克門等，里面窯殿和邦克門多處最具該寺工程建造上海特色文化。
Located at No.75 Gangbeng Alley, Maluqiao Neighborhood Committee in Yueyang Sub-district, Songjiang Mosque was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in August 1980. As one of the oldest mosques in Shanghai, Songjiang Mosque was built during 1341-1368, also named Zhenjiao Mosque. After many renovations and expansions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the mosque today features the style of construction of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings include Central Hall, Kiln Hall, Crossing Corridor, North and South Speech Hallꦺ, and Bangke Chamber. Among them, the Kiln Hall and Bangke Chamber can best represent the traits of the Mosque.
    西林禪寺
     Xilin Temple
    西林禪寺，真名“西林精舍”，又稱崇恩寺，在松江區中山間路66六號，初建于唐⛎咸通第十2年（872），僧睿增建于南宋咸淳元年（1265），有史以來已經1150年里歷史時間，是松江區藏傳道家協會會員的所以地，為武漢藏傳道家七大熱帶叢林產品之一。明洪武三30年（138六年）翻修，明正統英宗歷代皇帝敕封“西林大明朝禪寺”。宮殿后有一個塔，宋名崇恩塔，明易為圓應塔，🅘供奉1代祖師圓應居士舍利，稱為“西林塔”，1982年九月份被公布了為武漢市古物保護性標準。塔身七層八面，磚木成分，塔高46.5米，有史以來仍為武漢中北部高且收藏古物最常的一尊古塔。
Located at No.666 Middle Zhongshan Road, Songjiang District, Xilin Temple, formerly known as “Xilin Jingshe”, also known as Chong’en Temple, was originally built in the Tang Dynasty (872), a monk named Rui extended the temple in the Southern Song Dynasty (1265). With a history of more than 1,150 years, Xilin Temple is the location of the Buddhist Association of Songjiang District and one of the top ten Buddhist monasteries in Shanghai. The temple was reconstructed in the Ming Dynasty (1387), an emperor named it as Xilin Temple of Ming. Behind t💮he main hall, there stands a 46.5-meter-high, 7-story octagonal pagoda of brick and wood structure, which was called Chong’en Pagoda during the Song Dynasty, then named Yuanying Pagoda during Ming Dynasty, offering the Sarira of its first ancestor, Zen Master Yuanying, also well-known as Xilin Pagoda. Announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in September 1982, this pagoda is the tallest ancient pagoda in Shanghai with the most collection of cultural relics.
